Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain the laboratory’s quality management system, ensuring accurate, reliable, and traceable test results.
Method Validation: Develop, validate, and update testing and calibration methods, ensuring they meet NABL scope and customer requirements.
Equipment Management: Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and functioning of laboratory equipment, maintaining records as per NABL guidelines.
Staff Training: Train and supervise technical staff on testing procedures, safety protocols, and NABL compliance requirements.
Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, address non-conformities, and ensure continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
Customer Interaction: Review customer requirements, ensure test methods align with specifications, and provide technical support for result interpretation.
Documentation: Maintain and review technical records, test reports, and calibration certificates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NABL standards.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in testing processes to ensure reliability and safety in laboratory operations.
Innovation: Drive research and development initiatives to expand the laboratory’s NABL scope and enhance testing capabilities.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s in Engineering (ELECTRICAL Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or related field), or Master’s degree in Applied Sciences, or equivalent.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in a NABL-accredited testing laboratory in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of testing methods (e.g., Electrical testing, material testing, chemical analysis ) relevant to the institute’s NABL scope.
NABL Standards: Proven experience with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 implementation, including quality management and audit processes.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and train technical teams, ensuring compliance and high performance.
Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, auditors, and internal teams.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address technical challenges, non-conformities, and customer complaints effectively.
Desirable: Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., Lead Auditor for ISO/IEC 17025) or experience in expanding NABL accreditation scope.
